01
The agreement
By creating a workspace or running a licensed instance, the organisation you represent agrees to these terms. If you are signing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to. Where we have signed a separate agreement with you, that one wins.
02
Subscription terms
The subscription is billed per seat, monthly or annually. A seat is any member who can sign in. Add seats whenever you hire and billing prorates; remove them and the seat frees up on the next cycle. Annual plans are paid up front and are not refunded pro rata, but they are not auto-escalated in price either.
chevron_rightAll four tools are included in every plan — nothing is gated behind a tier.
chevron_rightYou can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
chevron_rightTaxes are added where applicable; invoices and purchase orders are available on annual plans.
03
Dedicated instance licence
A dedicated instance is licensed, not sold. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run one single-tenant instance of Viratim for your own organisation, delivered as signed release bundles. Source code is not included, and the licence does not permit resale, sublicensing, or offering the software to third parties as a service.
chevron_rightPerpetual means the instance keeps working indefinitely, with no per-seat renewal.
chevron_rightSupport and upgrade coverage is a separate, optional annual agreement.
chevron_rightDeployment is performed by us — on our managed infrastructure or with your team on yours.
plainly
If you stop paying for support, nothing switches off. You simply stop receiving new releases and our help; the instance you licensed continues to run.
04
Your content
Your workspace content stays yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host, transmit, back up and display it in order to run the service for you — nothing broader, and nothing that survives you deleting it. We do not use your content to train models.
on-premise
On an on-premise instance we hold no copy of your content at all, so this section is effectively moot for you.
05
Acceptable use
Do not use Viratim to break the law, distribute malware, harass people, or attack the service. Do not attempt to circumvent the permission model to reach content you have not been granted, and do not resell access to a workspace as if it were your own product. We may suspend a workspace that is actively harming others, and we will tell you why.
06
Availability and support
We aim for high availability and publish live subsystem status, including incident write-ups. The subscription is provided without a contractual uptime credit unless we have agreed one with you in writing; dedicated instances can include an availability commitment as part of the deployment agreement.
07
Changes to the service
We ship continuously, so the product will change. We will not remove a capability you depend on without notice in the product, and we publish everything we ship on the changelog. For licensed instances, upgrades are yours to schedule.
08
Ending things
You can close a workspace whenever you like; export your content first, because 30 days after closure it is purged. We may terminate for non-payment or serious misuse, with notice and a window to export. A perpetual licence is not terminated by ending a support agreement.
09
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as-is beyond the warranties we cannot exclude by law. To the extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim — or, for a perpetual licence, to the licence fee itself. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law stated in your order form or agreement, and disputes go to the courts named there. Questions, redlines and signature requests all go through the sales queue on the contact page — a person answers, usually the same day.
